Dear Members,

A few days ago Florian Schweizer CEO of The Arts Society launched a prototype internet connection initially only to society committee members.  This early connection highlighted several glitches.  I am happy to say these have been resolved so I now feel able to make you aware.

Many of you have signed into accepting a regular communication from 'Head Office' prior to all the recent turmoil.  For those who have not, go to The Arts Society Mailing List which should link you to this recent innovation.

The initiative is to offer you, as members of your local society, the facility to enjoy at home a series of films by The Arts Society's accredited lecturers.  There are links to galleries, expert E-lectures on iconic artists and art forms, plus much more.  The content will be updated on a regular basis.

None of us know how long this self isolation will be in force.  For the moment rest assured both your committee, webmaster and myself are working on all possible ways to keep you informed with up to date information.

I hope these links to Art and Culture will be of interest while we are isolated and wondering when this will end.  Keep safe and we will see each other soon.
